DMSE Lab is recruiting undergraduate researchers, M.S. and Ph.D. students, and postdoctoral researchers. If you would like to know more about the lab, email us first to set up a meeting. Individual meetings and lab visits are both welcome.
POSITIONS
- Undergraduate researchersOpen to students of any year. During the semester or over the break you take part in materials synthesis, measurements, and data analysis in the lab. Students considering graduate school are welcome.
- M.S. and Ph.D. studentsIncluding the combined M.S.–Ph.D. program. You choose a topic among nanoporous materials synthesis, catalysis, electrochemistry, adsorption, and AI-guided materials design. Contact us before admission and we will discuss the topic and how to prepare.
- Postdoctoral researchersPh.D. (or expected) in materials synthesis, electrochemistry, catalysis, computation, data science, or a related field. Send the research topics you are interested in along with your CV.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Students who want to make and measure new materials themselves
- Students who enjoy organizing and analyzing experimental data
- Students who want to apply programming or machine learning to materials research
